Oakland County and the Holly Area have experienced an increase in reported thefts over recent months. The Holly Police Department is actively investigating these cases, interviewing suspects, submitting evidence to the Crime Lab, reviewing pawn shop records, and deploying extra patrols in uniform and plain clothes.
The Holly Police Department will be offering three educational "Crime Prevention and Awareness" meetings, where you are invited to get involved.
The meetings will provide helpful information about securing your home, crime prevention tips, how to be a good witness, and what the first steps are toward creating a neighborhood watch.
The most important element in solving these crimes will be community awareness and involvement.
