Suspicious Incidents/Persons

If it looks like someone is up to no-good, they probably are. Please call the Holly Police Department immediately. Our officers and dispatchers are trained to investigate suspicious activities and determine if a crime is being committed. One of the best security systems you can have is a "Nosy Neighbor." Our department encourages your neighbors to be "Nosy," especially if there is strange activity occurring around your property. If someone or something seems "suspicious" to you or just makes you feel somewhat uncomfortable, there is probably good reason for it. Be a good neighbor and return the favor by keeping a watchful eye on their property and report any suspicious activity or vehicles immediately. This continued partnership between the Holly Police Department and the community is essential in helping us provide a quality service to ensure the safety of our citizens.

Vacation/House Checks

Should you be going on vacation or just out of town for a few days remember to notify your neighbors and arrange for your mail and newspapers to be held until your return. Just before leaving, call the Holly Police Department and the duty dispatcher will take your name, address, dates you will be gone, emergency notification information, pet care providers and a few other bits of essential information. This information will be passed on to patrol officers who will keep an extra eye on your home while you are gone.
